Meeting
Quondensate Kick-of-Meeting
Last Wednesday, May 15, the partners of the QUONDENSATE project gathered at the Dipartimento di Fisica, Politecnico di Milano, both in-person and online, to discuss the scientific and strategic aspects of our ambitious project.
We addressed the science of each work package and brainstormed collaboration. The discussion was very lively and enthusiastic. We all look forward to the exciting collaboration to bring this very ambitious project to a success.
Professor Giulio Cerullo (POLIMI) gave a comprehensive overview of the project, and all the partnering groups introduced themselves. Detailed discussions followed on the work packages, covering TMD materials development, defect engineering, characterization of defect networks, and implementation of quantum reservoir computing (QRC) with defect networks.
Not only did we cover the scientific part of the project, but we also discussed strategic planning and careful project management to make this collaboration effective and fruitful.
Now that we have kicked off the meeting in Milan, we are ready to start working. Looking forward to an exciting journey ahead!
