- To synthesize wafer-scale sulfide-based TMDs.
- To control layer thickness and homogeneity.

WP2: Engineering of defects in transition metal dichalcogenides
Lead – Emanuele Orgiu – INRS
- To induce defect networks by proton or ion irradiation.
- To induce defect networks by electrochemistry.
- To characterize the induced defect networks.
WP3: Advanced characterization of defect networks
Lead – Giulio Cerullo – POLIMI
- To model single point defects and their ultrafast response.
- To achieve wide field static characterization of defect networks.
- To carry out ultrafast and dynamic characterization of defect networks.
- To characterize quantum defects as single photon sources.
WP4: Implementation of Quantum Reservoir Computing with defect networks
Lead – Barbara Pietka – UoW
- To model the Quantum reservoir and its properties.
- To test the QRC capabilities of TMD defect networks.
WP5: Exploitation, dissemination and communication
Lead – Zeila Zanolli – UU
- To identify exploitable potential results.
- To ensure that the IP is managed properly.
- To effectively communicate the project results to different targeted audiences and raise awareness about the project’s achievements and its impact on society.
WP6: Project Management
Lead – Giulio Cerullo – POLIMI
- Monitoring the project progress, the milestones, deliverables and results. Preparation of project reports, organisation of project meetings, teleconferences and ensuring the communication within the Consortium.
- Monitoring financial and administrative duties in order to comply with the EC.
